It is a musical collective of wonderful people. That is the short version of a very Long list!
koga was born in Spanishtown, Jamaica and raised in America, much like sugar cane and reggae music. koga is no stranger to the industry, having produced for an performed with a variety of artists whose styles range from; the traditional mbalax music of Senegal to, the roots music of Jamaica, then the country folky, rock and or roll, and even the sacred esoteric music of the northern american indeginous people of Boston and Hartford.
He majored in Jazz studies at the Hartte School of Music under the tutelage of Mr. Jackie McLean.
As a passionate believer in the medicinal effects of positive music, he creates audio textures that encourage meditation, rejuvenation, love, compassion, dancing or sitting, blood flow, and musements of all kinds.
Drawing from the knowledge gained through struggle and endurance, koga has learned to care for all, always, and to share peace with every creature under the moon and sun.
Have fun, and enjoy the tasty tunes that stick to your ribs like the theme of your favorite situation comedy from the 70's or 80's and beyond. These moments are best paired with a glass of cabernet sauvignon or orange/cranberry juice with a plash of soda and a mixture of old and new friends.
