Tres Gatos is excited to host a pop-up dinner and cookbook event with Chef Abe Conlon of Chicago's highly acclaimed, Michelin Bib Gourmand winning restaurant, Fat Rice, on Tuesday December 13th!
Fat Rice features the unique food of Macau (Portuguese-inspired Asian fare) and is famous for its Arroz Gordo (literally Fat Rice) which is a traditional Macanese dish reminiscent of Paella. Tres Gatos will be exclusively featuring an a la carte menu of authentic Fat Rice dishes fromAbe's cookbook, The Adventures of Fat Rice, Recipes From the Chicago Restaurant Inspired by Macau, as well as dishes inspired by the book from Chef Stephen Marcaurelle. The book will be on sale at the Tres Gatos Book and Record Store.
We will start the night with snacks and an author meet and greet with Chef Abe Conlon from 530-630; reservations are highly recommended but walk ins are welcome as well starting at 6 pm.
