Manouche Urbain is a Boston-based acoustic jazz band influenced by the musings of gypsy swing legend, Django Reinhardt and virtuoso violinist, Stéphane Grappelli. Preserving the Manouche tradition, this "hot" quartet is composed of two guitars, a violin and an upright bass, with timely vocals.
Manouche Urbain has a classic yet hip sound that invigorates listeners at weddings, cocktail hours, private functions, and evening soirées. Their mix of jazz standards, compositions by Django himself, and Latin jazz classics, transports the listener to a smoky hot club in the 1940s. www.manoucheurbain.com
